Job Summary:

The Hospital Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming front-desk experience. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage patient check-ins, direct inquiries, and support administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and data entry.
• Assist with billing, co-pays, and insurance verification when required.
• Monitor the waiting area and ensure it is clean and welcoming.
• Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for efficient workflow.
• Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
• Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree (Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred).
• Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Multilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
