Title of Job : Fundraising Manager

Purpose of the Job:

To lead the fundraising function at the NGO and help the Head/ Board of the organization in identifying donor resources, raising funds and engaging donors for long-term organizational sustainability. To bring the sales streak and rigour into the work and expand the capacity of the organisation in handling programs and budgets. To ensure organisation’s digital media capabilities are built in by providing effective content in a timely manner.

Fundraising Manager – Selection Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

A degree in marketing, communications, business, development studies, social work, or a related field.

Relevant experience in fundraising, donor management, or nonprofit leadership (desirable).

2. Work Experience

Minimum 2 -5 years of relevant experience in guided fundraising, donor engagement, or resource mobilization in the nonprofit or corporate CSR sectors.

Proven track record of raising funds from multiple sources (individual donors, CSR, HNIs, foundations, institutions, or government bodies).

Experience in developing fundraising strategies and donor retention plans.

3. Fundraising Skills

Ability to research, identify, and build relationships with potential donors.

Strong proposal writing and documentation skills.

Understanding on LFA/RBM/concept note/ proposal /budget

Having Interest on fundraising concept

Having interest in social media, website updating etc

Acceptance to rejection and putting consistent effort to achieve the target.

4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Odiya (other language skills is an added advantage).

Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

Ability to present ideas persuasively to different donor audiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
