We’re Hiring - Freelance Video Editor (Part-Time, Remote)

Role Overview:

Freelance Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and deliver short-form and long-form videos optimized for social platforms (Meta, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Add motion graphics, captions, and transitions that align with brand guidelines
• Repurpose existing assets into multiple ad formats (1:1, 9:16, 16:9)
• Collaborate with our creative team on storyboards and hooks for performance ads
• Manage revisions and ensure on-time delivery within agreed deadlines

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency

  in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
• Strong grasp of pacing, sound design, and storytelling for digital ads
• Experience with

  motion graphics

  & basic animation (After Effects preferred)
• Knowledge of social media specs, trends, and performance-driven editing
• Ability to work with brand assets and maintain consistent visual identity

Must Have:

• Familiarity with UGC-style editing and TikTok/Reels trends
• Color grading and sound mixing experience
• Comfort with quick turnarounds and tight deadlines

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience (agency or freelance)
• Strong portfolio/reel showcasing short-form, ad-centric content
• Good communication skills and responsiveness on Slack/WhatsApp/Email
• Availability to take on projects on a weekly or monthly retainer basis
