Role Overview

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

You’ll work closely with founders and executive teams to define long-term tech strategy, ensure scalable architecture, and mentor tech teams - without being tied to a full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall technology roadmap aligned with business vision
• Oversee product architecture, scalability, infrastructure, and engineering best practices
• Guide startup founders on tech stack choices, team building, and vendor selection
• Identify risks, set priorities, and ensure rapid yet reliable development cycles
• Build and mentor engineering teams or help in hiring key technical talent
• Represent the technology function in strategic discussions with stakeholders, clients, and investors

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, or technology leadership
• Prior experience in a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Technical Co-founder role
• Proven ability to architect scalable systems and lead high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps, modern development frameworks, and SaaS infrastructure
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Expertise

• Experience building or scaling B2B SaaS or platform products
• Familiarity with startup lifecycle: MVP, product-market fit, and scale-up
• Exposure to fundraising and investor-facing technical presentations
• Deep knowledge of security, compliance, and platform resilience
• Hands-on with Agile development and remote-first team management
