Freelance Product Packaging Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Product Packaging Designer to bring our products to life through innovative, functional, and visually appealing packaging. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, a deep understanding of brand alignment, and experience creating production-ready files for print.

Responsibilities

• Design Conceptualization: Develop creative packaging concepts for new and existing products that meet brand standards and engage the target audience.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all packaging reflects the company’s brand identity, values, and visual guidelines.
• Prototyping: Create physical or digital mockups to test aesthetics, usability, and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and stakeholders to incorporate feedback effectively.
• Market & Material Research: Stay current on design trends, packaging innovations, and sustainable solutions.
• Production-Ready Files: Deliver high-quality, print-ready files and coordinate with vendors to ensure flawless execution.
• Compliance: Ensure packaging meets regulatory standards, including health, safety, and legal requirements.
• Project Management: Balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background as a packaging or graphic designer with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Design Knowledge: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Creativity: Innovative mindset with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and clients.
• Organization: Excellent project and time management abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address design challenges with functional and visually compelling solutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
