Job Description

In your role as an FP&A Analyst (Senior Consultant) at EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping a better working world by leveraging your financial planning and analysis expertise. Your main responsibilities and accountabilities will include: - Performing revenue trend analysis across business lines and regions to identify patterns, seasonality, and growth indicators. - Tracking client- and broker-level margins to support pricing strategies and performance evaluations. - Analyzing expense variances by comparing actuals to budgets/forecasts and identifying deviation drivers. - Participating in cost allocation reviews to ensure accurate assignment of shared costs. - Conducting revenue driver analysis to isolate the impact of various factors on revenue performance. - Monitoring and reporting on discretionary spend, evaluating alignment with strategic initiatives. - Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles by gathering inputs and building models. - Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packs and executive dashboards for senior management. - Assisting in building and maintaining financial models for scenario analysis and strategy development. - Collaborating with other functions to incorporate non-financial metrics into financial planning. In terms of required competencies, you should possess: Functional Competencies: - Strong understanding of FP&A processes and financial modeling - Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools - Familiarity with ERP and planning systems - Solid grasp of financial statements and business drivers - Attention to accuracy and data consistency in reporting Behavioural Competencies: - Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong sense of ownership and accountability - Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment - Adaptability and openness to process automation and continuous improvement Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA in Finance, CA, or CMA preferred - 8+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or management reporting - Prior experience in insurance, broking, or financial services - Strong track record in building financial models and executive reports - Experience working with global teams is desirable As part of EY, you will be contributing to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet.
