Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications built using Visual FoxPro (VFP 7/8/9).
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Upgrade or migrate legacy FoxPro modules to modern technologies as needed (e.g., .NET, SQL Server, Web APIs).
Create technical documentation, user guides, and release notes.
Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and build functional solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven work experience as a FoxPro / Visual FoxPro Developer.
Strong knowledge of FoxPro programming, tables, indexing, and cursor operations.
knowledge with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases.
Familiarity with modern development practices (object-oriented design, version control, SDLC).
Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical problems.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with system modernization or conversion from FoxPro to newer platforms .
Knowledge reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS), or automation scripting.
Experience in ERP, accounting, inventory, POS, or financial systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
