Founding Engineering Lead

We are building a new MarTech intelligence platform from the ground up and we are looking for our first engineer to lead the technical vision and build the product end-to-end.

This is hands-on architecture, systems design, and shipping real products. Youll have full ownership of the tech stack and the opportunity to shape the company from day one.

What Youll Own

• System architecture, backend services, integrations, DevOps, and data infrastructure.
• Translating marketing + business logic into scalable, reliable engineering.
• Shipping fast while maintaining technical clarity and technical rigor.

Core Requirements (Must-Have)

1. MarTech + Data Engineering

You should have deep familiarity with how modern growth teams work:

• Practical understanding of segmentation, attribution modeling, and MMM.
• Experience building pixel-level + server-side tracking pipelines.
• Strong with MarTech analytics, performance KPIs, and funnel/reporting metrics.
• Integrating with external APIs: Shopify, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, GA4, etc.
• Strong data engineering foundation: ingestion, streaming, warehousing, ETL workflows.

2. Backend & DevOps

You know how to design systems that scale from day one:

• Experience building production-grade REST / GraphQL APIs, Webhooks, gRPC and OAuth services.
• Strong fundamentals in RBAC, authentication, logging, and secure API design.
• AWS fluency with a focus on cost-efficient deployment and observability.

3. Working Style

• Highly analytical, comfortable working deeply with metrics + data.
• Bias toward shipping and iterating quickly with clarity.
• Comfortable in 0 1 environments where playbooks don’t yet exist.

• Ability to work effectively with “vibe coding” workflows using LLMs (GPT-based development), including prompt iteration and industry-standard AI coding assistants.

Bonus Points

Not required, but a strong plus:

• Strong frontend ability: dashboards, reporting systems, clean UI/UX.
• Product sensibilities: ability to simplify complexity.
• AI / ML exposure:
• Predictive modeling for marketing performance
• RAG-based analytical chat experiences
• Agentic workflows or automation frameworks
• Experience with WhatsApp chatbots or conversational triggers.
