As a Footwear Merchandiser at Suvaa, your role involves working part-time on-site in New Delhi. Your passion for footwear and experience in end-to-end product merchandising will be valuable to our team. Key Responsibilities: - Source materials & components: Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, lead times, and capacity forecasts aligned with brand objectives. - Drive product development: Oversee sample creation, fit sessions, and pre-production approvals. - Manage production & logistics: Track factory schedules, ensure quality checkpoints, and coordinate with supply-chain partners for on-time deliveries. - Analyze trends & performance: Research market trends, review sales data to optimize SKU assortments, and collaborate with teams for strategy alignment. - Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with the founder, design, and product teams to align on vision and timelines. Qualifications: - 2+ years of merchandising experience in footwear or a related fashion category. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and vendor management. - Proficiency in Excel and other merchandising tools. - Excellent communication, organization, and multi-project management skills.
