Footwear Merchandiser - Footwear & Accessories Category

Key Responsibilities-

• Plan seasonal assortments for the footwear category (and linked accessories) aligned to brand strategy, fashion trends and business targets.
• Analyze sales data, margin performance, inventory turns, sell-throughs to identify opportunities and optimise range.
• Liaise with design/product development teams to ensure the footwear range meets market needs (style, fit, materials, cost).
• Coordinate with sourcing/manufacturing teams / suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of samples, production, and finished goods.
• Work with retail/e-commerce/marketing teams to ensure effective launches, in-store presentation, online merchandising.
• Monitor inventory levels, order placement, stock ageing and take corrective action where required.
• Benchmark competition, monitor market & consumer trends in footwear/fashion to keep the range fresh and competitive.
• Ensure product margin, cost vs. price, bill of materials, and other commercial KPIs are tracked and improved.
• Support sales & marketing teams with pre-season and in-season updates, product training, visual merchandising inputs.

Prepare reports and present insights to senior management about category performance, future assumptions, risk areas.
