Job Description

Job Title: Football Coach

Reports To: Sports Director / Principal

Job Purpose:

To develop students’ football skills, instil sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline, and guide the school team to participate competitively in inter-school and district-level tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct football training sessions for different age groups.
Teach fundamental and advanced football techniques, rules, and strategies.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all players.
Identify and nurture talented players for the school’s football team.
Prepare the team for competitions, ensuring peak performance and proper fitness.
Monitor and maintain students’ discipline, punctuality, and teamwork during training and matches.
Organize intra-school matches, selection trials, and football events.
Inspect and maintain football equipment, kits, and field facilities.
Collaborate with school administration for scheduling and logistics of matches.
Promote values of fair play, perseverance, and healthy competition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field (preferred).
Certification or proven experience as a Football Coach.
Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and modern coaching methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Ability to work with children and adolescents with patience and enthusiasm.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Training sessions before/after school hours or as scheduled.
Availability for weekend matches or tournaments when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
