Food Quality Control Manager

As a dedicated Quality Control (QC) overseeing the production process of Medu Vada, Appe, and Idli Batter, you play a critical role in ensuring that all batches meet the highest quality standards before clearance for production. Your strong background in food quality control enables you to identify issues during production and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Your key responsibilities include inspecting and approving all batches of Medu Vada, Appe, and Idli Batter before production clearance. Regular quality inspections throughout the production process are essential to maintain consistency, taste, texture, and appearance of products. Adherence to established food safety and quality standards is imperative, covering ingredient quality, processing, packaging, and storage conditions. Maintaining thorough documentation of quality control checks, including batch testing, results, and corrective actions taken is crucial. Ensuring that all production equipment is calibrated and maintained to meet food safety and quality standards is a significant part of your role. Identifying and troubleshooting issues in the production line promptly and working closely with the production team for resolution is key. You will provide ongoing training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards. Compliance with local food safety regulations and company policies is a non-negotiable aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, handling the reporting of the QC team, providing training, and overseeing Warehouse, Dispatch, and Production QC Team are part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Quality Executive or in a similar position. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and QC documentation tools is expected. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities are essential. Effective communication and coordination across departments, self-motivation, and a quality-driven approach are qualities that will set you up for success. Understanding of SOPs, safety standards, and quality compliance requirements is fundamental for this role.,
