About the Role:

Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers, Thane is looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join as a Food Production Faculty.
The ideal candidate should have strong culinary knowledge, be able to conduct both theory and practical sessions, and must have the ability to teach Bakery & Confectionery (theory and practical). Candidates with bakery expertise will be given higher preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging classroom and kitchen practical sessions in Food Production
• Teach fundamental and advanced culinary techniques across cuisines
• Deliver theory & practical teaching in Bakery & Confectionery
• Prepare lesson plans, recipes, teaching materials, and assessment sheets
• Train students in hygiene, kitchen discipline, safety, and professional etiquette
• Coordinate and support departmental activities, events, and student projects
• Assist in organizing industry visits, competitions, and exhibitions
• Maintain student attendance, performance records, and ensure discipline

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Food Production (mandatory)
• Strong foundation in culinary principles and kitchen operations
• Bakery & Confectionery knowledge is highly preferred
• Freshers with strong culinary and bakery skills are welcome
• Good communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities
• Passion for teaching and shaping future hospitality professionals
