Specifically, the job entails:

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include managing and supporting multiple entity accounts, as well as liaising with country CFOs to facilitate efficient closing processes.
  • Conduct monthly reporting and reconciliations (Blackline), and post month-end journals using Oracle.
  • Reconcile all accounts with the General Ledger within Group timelines, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Support the implementation of new systems and process changes.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure timely completion of all reconciliations during the month-end process.
  • Participate actively in knowledge-sharing forums across the organization.
  • Uphold absolute data integrity and work to minimize processing errors.
  • Monitor compliance with guidelines to achieve monthly targets and metrics.
  • Apply appropriate controls to address and mitigate process gaps.

Key activities in the job include:

  • Helping / assisting other team members & seniors in completing / meeting deadlines after finishing self-tasks.
  • Adhering to any compliance and governance requirements of the organization

Personality:

  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication under pressure.
  • Understanding of Finance functions in multinational settings.
  • Solid financial background with comprehensive finance knowledge.
  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle).

  • B. Com / BAF / M. Com
  • Technical Skills
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Journal Entries
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Ledger Posting
  • Ledger Scrutiny

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft office, particularly Word & Excel
  • Attention to detail is vital to succeed in this role
  • Energetic, enthusiastic individuals
  • Logical thinking skillset is a must
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems, also should have the ability to adapt to changes
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks, work within stiff timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to get on with others; be a team-player
  • Ability to work under pressure, do multi-tasking and meet tight deadlines.
  • Should be a quick learner and team player.
  • Able to develop working relationships with offshore teams and collaborate with others.

  • Familiarity with Oracle General Ledger system, Blackline Reconciliation System, and business reporting tools such as Hyperion is considered beneficial
