Requirements:Job Summary:
A Flowable BPM Developer is required to design, implement, and integrate business workflows using the Flowable BPM platform. The role involves close collaboration with development teams to integrate Flowable into the overall application architecture, enabling workflow automation and dynamic task orchestration in a microservices environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop BPMN-based workflows using Flowable BPM.
- Implement custom Java delegates, listeners, service tasks, and event handlers.
- Integrate Flowable with application components, backend services, and external systems (via REST, messaging, or database calls).
- Work closely with architects, backend developers, and DevOps to embed Flowable into the core application stack.
- Customize Flowable Modeler and UI (if required) to meet business requirements.
- Manage workflow deployment, versioning, and lifecycle across environments.
- Implement security controls, including role-based access and authorization at the workflow level.
- Participate in design discussions, requirement gathering, and sprint planning to align Flowable-based features with application needs.
- Support monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning of workflow services in production.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Flowable BPM (community or enterprise edition).
- Solid understanding of BPMN 2.0, and working familiarity with CMMN and DMN.
- Hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
- Experience integrating BPM engines within microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Experience using and extending Flowable Modeler, Task App, and Admin App.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate effectively with developers and architects.
