Floor Supervisor

An Automobile Floor Supervisor manages daily workshop operations, leading technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality vehicle servicing, timely completion, and excellent customer satisfaction by allocating jobs, monitoring progress, providing technical guidance, enforcing safety/discipline (5S), managing parts, and resolving issues, acting as a bridge between mechanics and service advisors/management. Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor technicians; manage shift schedules; handle performance issues; ensure training needs are met.
• Operations Management: Allocate job cards, monitor repair progress, ensure timely completion, and manage workshop flow.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and workshop cleanliness (5S); perform quality checks.
• Customer Focus: Communicate job status/delays to service consultants, resolve complaints, and ensure promised delivery times are met.
• Resource Management: Assist with parts inventory, ensure technicians have necessary supplies, and manage equipment.
• Reporting: Prepare daily production reports and suggest process improvements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Supervisory experience in automotive/manufacturing, strong technical knowledge.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with diagnostic tools, service standards, lean manufacturing.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, time management, multitasking, strong communication.
• Education: Diploma/Graduate in relevant engineering field (Mechanical/Auto/Production) often preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,419.57 - ₹24,341.91 per month
