Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained across the premises.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Good communication and supervision skills
• Physically fit and detail-oriented
• Basic record-keeping knowledge

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in hotel, retail, bakery, hospital, or facility management
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards
• Time management and multitasking abilities
• Assign duties and prepare daily work schedules
• Ensure all areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained
• Monitor use of cleaning materials and control wastage
• Check quality of work and ensure standards are met
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Report maintenance issues to the concerned department
• Maintain attendance and discipline of housekeeping staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and hygiene standards
• Handle staff issues and report to management when required
