Fleet Maintenance Manager

Key Areas of Experience

• Fleet operations and maintenance
• RTA (Regional Transport Authority) processes and documentation
• Insurance management and claims processing
• Vendor and fuel management
• Compliance with road permits, taxes, and vehicle fitness requirements and renewals
• Management of drivers duty schedules and supervision

Roles & Responsibilities

1. RTA Works:

• New vehicle registration
• Fitness certificate renewal
• Permit renewal
• Road tax payments and renewals

2. Insurance Management

• Manage insurance renewal schedules for all vehicles.
• Process and coordinate insurance claims for accidental damages or losses.

3. Management Pool / Admin Pool Vehicles

• Supervise repair, maintenance, and servicing of management and administrative pool of vehicles.
• Ensure timely upkeep and readiness of vehicles.

4. Site Vehicles

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of site vehicles such as Bolero, Tata Ace, Ashok Leyland Dost, and Ambulances.
• Coordinate with service vendors for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

5. Fuel Management

• Monitor and control fuel consumption across the fleet.
• Maintain records of fuel issuance and ensure reconciliation with usage logs.

6. FASTag Management

• Manage issuance, recharge, and record maintenance of FASTags for all company vehicles.
• Ensure timely updates to prevent operational delays.

7. Drivers Management

• Supervise driver rosters, attendance, and duty allocations.
• Ensure compliance with company driving policies and safety standards.

8. Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and fleet operations.
• Familiarity with RTA processes, permits, and documentation.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication abilities.
