Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues on equipment and machinery. Installation and Commissioning: Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functioning. Collaboration: Working closely with engineers and other maintenance staff to improve plant operations and address any issues that arise. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and preparing reports on equipment performance and repairs. Qualifications: Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical trade. Experience: Proven experience as a fitter, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
