Fit & Quality Partner

As a Fit & Quality Partner at the company, your primary responsibility is to ensure that fits and quality standards are maintained in alignment with the BIG W fit standards. Collaboration with Design, Category, Quality, and Compliance teams is essential to deliver product safety, quality, and compliance on the technical design elements, ultimately ensuring great fit and quality garments throughout the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Fit & Quality Partner Aus, Designers, Sourcing Team, and suppliers/factories to ensure the safety, compliance, and quality of own brand products for customers. - Utilize garment construction experience, including pattern making and grading, to drive product fit simplification and evaluate all samples against tech pack with Stakeholders. - Provide suggestions for garment construction or adjustments, resolving potential style and fit issues, and reviewing Bronze, Silver, and Gold Seal samples along with required QA documentation. - Apply critical thinking to develop risk-based and customer-centric product requirements and engage with stakeholders to support their understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements. - Ensure consistency in size standards, construction, and fit of samples/production with BIGW requirements. - Exercise discipline and governance to ensure products meet requirements by consistently applying the NPD process for Own Brand products. - Drive continuous improvement by reviewing customer complaints, identifying trends, and advising on necessary changes. - Specialize in a department while being flexible to work across the BIG W business. - Ensure compliance requirements for Woolworths Supplier Excellence and Responsible Sourcing Policy are met by all factories producing own brand products. - Investigate product incidents using risk-based thinking to determine necessary actions for customer and team safety. Qualifications Required: - Sound knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit process. - Good understanding of safety and compliance standards for clothing product range. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Customer-centric mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing environments. - Demonstrated ability to simplify processes and show passion for products. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Continuous improvement in the VOC Quality score for clothing. - Zero avoidable OB withdrawals/recalls due to product safety or quality faults. - Positive stakeholder feedback on partnering relationships.,
