Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Firefighting Design Engineer

  • Designing advanced fire protection systems, including hydrants, sprinklers, fire pumps, wet/dry/pre-action, and clean-agent suppression systems.
  • Developing fire detection and alarm systems (both addressable and conventional).
  • Preparing Design Basis Reports (DBRs), technical specifications, and tender BOQs.
  • Ensuring compliance with NFPA, IS, NBC, BS, EN, and other relevant standards.
  • Coordinating with project teams across metros, underground tunnels, airports, hydro/water infrastructure, and commercial projects.

    • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Fire Protection & PHE design.
    • Strong knowledge of IS, NBC, NFPA, and other global fire protection codes.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PipeNet, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS.
    • Experience in hydraulic calculations, pipe network analysis, and preparation of DBRs, specifications, and BOQs.

    • Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of BIM / 3D modeling.
    • Experience with hydraulic modeling software.
    • Understanding of sustainable design principles.
