Role description: To lead, coordinate, and manage all MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health & Fire) design aspects within rail infrastructure projects. The Design Manager will ensure that all MEPF designs meet client requirements, statutory regulations, project specifications, and are delivered within time, cost, quality, and safety parameters. Role accountabilities: Design Management & Coordination: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary MEPF design teams across all project stages (concept, detailed design, IFC, etc.). Interface with civil, structural, architecture, and systems teams to ensure integration of MEPF systems. Manage external consultants and sub-consultants as required. Qualification and Experience Required: BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in mechanical or civil engineering or a related technical field Minimum 5 years of experience in designing of Plumbing & Fire Protection systems for commercial, retail, hospital and residential projects Experience in design of water supply, sewerage and drainage system including necessary calculations. Design of comprehensive underground sewerage and storm water systems. Sizing and selecting of location for STP & water tanks. Detail drawing layout for internal & external water and drainage system Experience in fire protection systems design of sprinklers, external & internal hydrant system, fire pump & tank systems design, hydraulic calculations Experience of having worked on AutoCAD for preparing Design layouts Experience of using MS Office Proven experience of having successfully managed Client communication Compensation: The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation and remuneration policies in line with qualifications and experience.
