Fire Alarm Technician

Role Summary: Technicians will support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire-fighting and fire alarm systems for various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service fire alarm systems, detectors, panels, and related devices.
• Install and maintain fire-fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, extinguishing systems).
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist in system commissioning, wiring, calibration, and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA and Qatar Civil Defense standards.
• Prepare basic service/maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical certification / Vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Technology or similar field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in fire-fighting or fire alarm systems preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use testing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Good troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electronic and hydraulic systems.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on construction or maintenance sites.

Working Conditions

• On-site work at buildings, industrial sites, or infrastructure projects in Qatar.
• Regular maintenance visits as part of scheduled preventive maintenance contracts.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹44,000.00 per month
