Mode:

Financial Governance & Reporting

       Prepare detailed cloud cost reports and dashboards for leadership and key stakeholders.

       Conduct regular reviews of cloud spending, sharing insights and right-sizing opportunities with leadership teams.

       Collaborate with product engineering teams to implement identified right-sizing and cost-optimization opportunities.

       Implement robust tagging and resource management policies to enhance cost transparency.

       Monitor and report on the progress, ROI, and effectiveness of cost-optimization initiatives.

       Develop frameworks and policies to strengthen cloud financial governance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

       Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to promote cost-efficient practices throughout the development lifecycle.

       Work with finance teams to integrate cloud costs into broader financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

       Mentor teams on FinOps principles and cloud cost management best practices.

Strategic Planning & Analysis

       Provide financial analysis to support cloud architecture decisions, migrations, and scaling initiatives.

       Contribute to the development of a cloud strategy and roadmap from a financial perspective.

       Benchmark cloud costs against industry standards and competitors to identify improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

       8–10 years of experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, or a related field.

       Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure platforms.

       Proficiency with cloud cost management tools, including Azure Cost Management and SaaS solutions such as Dynatrace, CloudAMQP, and MongoDB.

       Familiarity with cloud pricing models (on-demand, reserved, spot instances, and savings plans).

       Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless architectures (Web Apps, Function Apps), Application Gateway, API Management, SQL Server, and related technologies.

Analytical & Financial Skills

       Strong analytical abilities, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Power BI.

       Solid understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ability to design and execute cost-optimization strategies aligned with business objectives
