Role Overview: You will play a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships to ensure exceptional customer experiences. As a Financial Reporting Specialist in the finance team, your primary responsibility will be preparing financial statements and related notes in compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve enhancing processes, providing change recommendations, and collaborating closely with the internal control team. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this position. Your extensive experience in Financial Reporting or Audit within the Funds industry, along with knowledge of primary GAAPs such as Irish/UK, IFRS, and US GAAP, will be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare primary financial statements (annual and interim) and related notes following accounting and regulatory guidelines, ensuring timely delivery within client deadlines and SLAs - Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with disclosure requirements - Conduct regular checks on financial statements for large clients during audit and interim cycles - Analyze client accounting records, address potential issues, and recommend process improvements for efficiency - Ensure adherence to risk and control checks for client portfolios, update necessary checklists and SOPs post-audit cycles, and collaborate with the internal control team on issue resolution Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting or Audit within the Funds industry - Post-graduate degree or CA/CPA qualification with a focus on Finance or Accounting preferred - Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and establish internal relationships across different locations - Exceptional attention to detail, analytical capabilities for financial statement reviews, and knowledge of primary GAAPs including Irish/UK, IFRS, and US GAAP - Proficiency in working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines during peak delivery periods, and being goal-oriented and self-motivated,
