Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior finance professionals, gain hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and develop a strong foundation in corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for business planning.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
Help track KPIs and prepare presentations for management reviews.
Support ad-hoc analysis and projects as assigned by the FP&A team.

About Company: The company primarily focuses on creating IP in the kids' animation space and is presently working on multiple Indian animation TV series with all the major linear & non-linear broadcasters. Motu Patlu, Selfie with Bajrangi, Titoo, Eena Meena Deeka, and Dabangg' among others are some of its flagship animation shows. The studio presently has 18 shows on air and 10 in production, including four finished European co-production series and an international animation feature film, Dogtanian, and the Three Muskehounds'.
Cosmos-Maya has a strong reputation for consistent delivery of popular Indian animated content and has produced an unprecedented 40,000 minutes of original animation in the last five years, comprising over 2000 half-hour episodes. Cosmos-Maya's IPs air in more than 150 countries today.
