Financial Planning & Analysis- Analyst

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst within the CBB Finance team in Bengaluru, your role involves supporting the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for supporting month-end closures, forecasting, and budgeting processes for Occupancy expenses. Your interactions with stakeholders will ensure accurate bookings and provide insights on expense trends. Additionally, you will engage in portfolio analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering ad hoc analysis for senior management. Regular collaboration with real estate stakeholders, Accounting, Controllers, and other business partners is also essential. - Support month-end closures, forecasting, and budgeting processes for Occupancy expense. - Interact with stakeholders to ensure accurate bookings during month-end closures. - Adjust forecasts based on actuals and known business scenarios monthly. - Provide meaningful insights on expense trends and explain business drivers in monthly actuals walk-throughs. - Develop a strong business understanding, maintain cost center hierarchy, and support standard reporting and project initiatives. - Continuously update internal reporting with branch planning decisions. - Conduct portfolio analysis of buildings for actuals, forecasts, and budgets, investigating key drivers of variance at the building level. - Regularly identify and measure risks and opportunities in building-level forecasts and budgets. - Engage with real estate stakeholders to drive forecast accuracy by investigating variances, risks, and opportunities. - Deliver ad hoc expense analysis for senior management, offering meaningful insights. - Explain expense drivers by engaging in discussions with Accounting, Controllers, and other business partners. - Qualified CA/CMA/MBA or equivalent degree in Accounts & Finance. - Good knowledge of accounting terms and concepts. - Minimum 2+ years of experience primarily in Financial Planning & Analysis role. - Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders. - Proficiency in Excel and presentation skills. - Analytical thinking and the ability to derive business insights.,
