Job Description

Role Summary:

The Business Development (BD) Manager will play a critical role in driving growth by leading high-impact initiatives, supporting zonal deal processes, and strengthening BD systems and presentations for management decision-making. The role demands strong analytical, strategic, and execution capabilities, with a high level of collaboration across functions.

Key responsibilities

Creation of High-Quality Review Presentations

  • Lead preparation of weekly and quarterly BD review presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy, data integrity, and business insights in all reports and decks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and create clear, decision-oriented presentations.

Learning & Development Zonal TDD Participation

  • Actively participate in zonal Term Sheet to Deal Documentation (TDD) processes.
  • Drive learning by engaging in at least 5–6 zonal TDD processes annually, with the aim of contributing to closure of at least 1 deal.
  • Build domain expertise in deal structuring, risk analysis, and closure mechanisms.

Central Initiatives with Management

  • Support central business initiatives, ad-hoc management asks, and strategic projects.
  • Create and deliver impactful management presentations for CXO-level reviews.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to align on key BD strategies and initiatives.

Relooking at BD Processes and Initiatives

  • Identify gaps and improvement areas in current BD processes.
  • Propose and implement new frameworks, tools, or initiatives to enhance BD effectiveness.
  • Work closely with HOD to standardize and streamline BD operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree.
  • Experience:

    3-7 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create impactful, insight-driven presentations.
  • Strong understanding of business development processes, deal structuring, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of real estate sector, investment evaluation, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to manage data-driven insights, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder and project management tools is an advantage.
