Financial Controller

About the Company

MAPL Steels (India) Private Limited is a manufacturing company in the basic iron & steel industry, producing and distributing Solar Module Mounting structures and Transmission Towers.

Role Overview

The Finance Controller will manage all financial functions including ledger management, stock & inventory accounting, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and controls. Youll work closely with operations and leadership to ensure financial accuracy and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee

  general ledger accounting

  ensuring accurate books of accounts.
• Manage

  stock & inventory accounting

  , including stock reconciliations and valuation adjustments.
• Prepare

  weekly

  ,

  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  .
• Monitor

  accounts receivable & payable

  , reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Ensure

  GST, TDS & compliance filings

  are done timely and accurately.
• Support

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  .
• Coordinate with

  internal teams and external auditors

  during audits.
• Establish and improve

  internal controls and financial processes

  .

Required Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / Inter CA / qualified accountant.

• 3+ years’ experience

  in finance & accounting roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of

  inventory accounting, cost accounting, and ledger management

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Tally / SAP / ERP systems

  .
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in

  steel, manufacturing, or engineering industries

  .
• Experience leading small finance teams.
