As a Financial Controller at the largest Cable and Conductor Manufacturer & Exporter in Eastern India, your role involves overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. Your primary responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing financial insights to guide strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive business performance and identify areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations. - Conduct regular financial analysis to assess business performance and recommend improvements. - Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and proposing corrective actions. - Establish and maintain efficient internal controls over financial processes and reporting. - Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely completion and compliance. - Monitor and ensure adherence to tax regulations, corporate governance, and legal requirements. - Evaluate internal financial controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. - Provide financial insights to senior leadership, advising on strategies, cost control, and investments. - Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Supervise cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditures. - Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, aligning their performance with company goals.
