Job Description

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in financial control and have found the right team. As an HR Controllers Associate within the HR Controllers team at JPMorgan Chase's Firmwide Controllers, you will manage compensation-related financial and operational accounting activities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring general ledger accuracy, maintaining internal controls, overseeing financial reporting, and identifying and escalating control issues. The Corporate Sector Controllers (CSEC) function, part of the Firmwide Controllers organization, is responsible for financial and operational accounting activities, internal controls, and financial reporting for Corporate Functions. This encompasses accounting and operational support services for Global Real Estate, Human Resources, Global Technology, Legal, and Corporate Responsibility, among others. **Job Responsibilities:** - Prepare and post General Ledger entries including Compensation & Employee Benefits, Monthly Accruals/Prepaid, Invoice Allocations, and manual journal entries. - Perform daily Bank reconciliations, Monthly Balance sheet review, and Monthly & Quarterly General ledger attestation. - Conduct Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reporting, Variance analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Document detailed process understanding for all activities. - Provide support to the Service Recipient, participate in projects, and interact with key stakeholders. **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or Chartered Accountant. - 4 years of relevant experience in GL accounting/finance-related areas. - Thorough knowledge of Core Accounting procedures and principles. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. - Initiative, ability to take ownership, work independently, and contribute to the broader team. - Ability to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong analytical and financial skills with a process improvement orientation. **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** - Experience with automated financial systems, database management, and worksheet-modeling tools (Excel).,
