Financial Analyst

As an Analyst at our SEBI registered category-II Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) based in Delhi NCR, your role will involve conducting in-depth market/industry research to identify promising investment opportunities. You will be responsible for detailed financial and technical analysis, including valuation assessment of potential investment opportunities. Your duties will also include assisting the investment team in managing the portfolio, developing effective investment strategies, and preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for the Investment Committee. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out in-depth market/industry research to identify market trends and promising investment opportunities - Conduct detailed financial and technical analysis, complemented with valuation assessment - Perform due diligence of potential investment opportunities to assess risk and viability - Assist in managing the portfolio and optimizing returns - Develop and implement effective investment strategies - Create financial models for forecasting and evaluating projected financials, including sensitivity analysis - Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the Investment Committee - Monitor the investment portfolio and market dynamics to customize strategies - Negotiate and draft term sheets with potential investees Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant and/or MBA - Any technical qualification will be an added advantage - At least 3 years of experience in an Asset Management Company, Alternate Investment Fund, NBFC, or Bank The employer is focused on identifying and investing in opportunities emerging in the stressed and non-performing assets of the financial sector.
