Financial Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Assist advisors in servicing clients including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research, and completing trades and transactions (Money movement, new account opening, etc.) as described by the advisor.
  
• Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, creating the agenda and summary of meetings, and providing necessary follow-up.
  
• Prepare and ensure new business paperwork is successfully submitted which includes preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation to send to home office, tracking new insurance/annuity applications, and coordinating rollovers.
  
• Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which includes creating marketing compliance documentation.
  
• Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisors phone, processing expense management reports, preparing routine client correspondence, setting up client files, copying, and handling new business correspondence and alerts.
  
• Assist advisors in increasing their social media presence (Facebook & LinkedIn) with relevant and timely updates.
  

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to go for licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly also for State Securities, State IAR, State Insurance).
  
• Willing to work evening hours: 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (9:30 am to 6:00 pm CST).
  
• Graduate in finance discipline (03 year experience or 1-year diploma is preferred).
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  
• Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. would be an added advantage.
  
• Must have an eye to detail with high accuracy levels.
  
• Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practices.
