Financial Accountant

Role Overview: You will be part of the finance department at TOMRA Food, where the focus is on adding value to the organization by delivering high-quality financial results and information to internal stakeholders. Reporting to the GM India with a dotted line to the APAC Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance and Administration function to ensure smooth business operations. This office-based role will require collaboration with peers and occasional travel to other TOMRA Food sites in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities: - Adherence to statutory and tax requirements, IFRS framework, and internal policies and procedures - Preparation of monthly/annual management accounting processes, including group reporting - Support month-end journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations - Investigate and resolve accounting issues, driving process improvement initiatives - Assist in the preparation of end-of-year statutory accounts and audit - Provide ad hoc reporting and contribute to projects as required by the APAC Finance team - Support first-line finance and administration requirements, including human resources Qualification Required: Skills/Abilities: - High level of financial acumen and technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) - Strong audit and tax compliance knowledge - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook - Accurate data entry skills and ability to work cross-functionally - Action-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement - Ability to analyze complex information and make well-reasoned decisions - Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills - Willingness to challenge and be challenged Experience: - Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role - Experience with Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems Qualification: - Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business - At least 10 years of post-qualification experience - CA or CPA qualification is preferred Additional Details (Omitted as it's not present in the JD),
