As a Financial Accountant at Croda, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of transactions and compliance with Croda's ethics policy. Reporting to the Finance Controller, your responsibilities will include: - Processing transactions on time and performing bank reconciliations - Entering data in month-end relevant package - Dealing with bankers for Import/Export/Routine transactions - Implementing Ethics and Compliance measures To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Degree qualified in accounting - Exposure to SAP, experience with S/4 Hana is an added advantage - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate assertively - Additional knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax would be advantageous - Ability to work effectively within a team Your day-to-day tasks will involve: - Demonstrating familiarity with various work procedures within the accounts and finance department - Supporting the development of Finance Assistants by providing training and advice - Following established procedures and processes while continuously improving them - Ensuring accurate reporting for senior management decision-making - Executing transactions efficiently and interacting with bankers regularly - Overseeing vendor queries, banking transactions, month-end processes, and GL reviews - Acting as a key point of contact during internal and external audits At Croda, you will have the opportunity to grow and lead in a global organization.
