Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

As part of the Global Finance Systems team, this role will primarily support Oracle Fusion Financials (Cloud) users in our Sportsbet business in Australia. The position requires working hours aligned to 9 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time/ 5am to 2pm Indian Standard Time.

The successful candidate will be an experienced specialist who can resolve routine queries with little oversight, apply expertise to analyse and solve problems without clear precedent, and escalate issues where appropriate. While a finance or IT qualification is an advantage, the focus is on strong systems support capability rather than advisory-level responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide end-user support for issues, access requests, and queries in Oracle Fusion and other Finance applications.
  • Administer master data including users, employees, affiliates, and bank accounts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with key interfaces (employees, banks, revenue, exchange rates).
  • Perform month-end system procedures.
  • Work with Internal Controls and Auditors on the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers process.
  • Create and maintain system/process documentation and deliver end-user training.
  • Manage workload allocation for the Finance Systems Analyst and act as escalation point.

EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

  • 3-6 years of experience in finance systems support, financial analysis, or IT systems support.
  • Strong exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials (mandatory).
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Comfortable to work in Australia Shift i.e. 5am to 2pm Indian Standard Time.
  • Customer Service: Ability to build strong relationships and provide high-quality support.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Logical, structured, and methodical approach to issue resolution.
  • Customer-Centric Attitude: Focused on delivering an exceptional end-user experience.
  • Adaptability: Flexible in managing varied tasks and challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proactive Learning: Eager to acquire new skills and stay updated on finance systems.
  • Teamwork: Collaborates effectively across teams and geographies.
