Role Responsibilities

  • Assess client financial health, including debt balances, repayment history, income, and spending patterns.
  • Develop personalized debt management plans (e.g., debt avalanche, snowball, consolidation loans, balance transfers).
  • Provide guidance on FICO credit scores, credit utilization ratios, and long-term strategies for improving financial stability.
  • Advise clients on consumer protection laws (FTC, CFPB) and credit regulations.
  • Track client progress toward debt reduction and provide ongoing coaching and support.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Financial Advisor, Debt Counselor, or Credit Specialist with U.S. clients.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. credit card market, repayment strategies, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with FICO scoring models and credit bureau reports (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop (Chromebooks are not supported).
