Finance Specialist

As a Finance Specialist in the manufacturing sector, you will be a key player in driving financial efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA will be utilized to prepare financial statements, conduct variance analysis, cost tracking, and forecasting for manufacturing operations. You will play a crucial role in monitoring CAPEX and OPEX budgets, focusing on raw material and energy cost fluctuations. Your responsibilities will include performing product costing, overhead absorption, and inventory valuation using SAP S/4HANA. You will validate cost structures and Bills of Materials (BOM) accuracy in collaboration with operations teams. Leading annual budgeting processes and developing rolling forecasts will be essential to adapt to dynamic market and production conditions. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS) will be part of your role. Supporting external and internal audits with SAP S/4HANA-based documentation is crucial for maintaining financial integrity. Managing SAP FICO modules and contributing to digital transformation projects will be key areas where your expertise will be utilized. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and sales will be necessary to align financial insights with business strategies. Providing financial input for strategic projects such as capital investments, product launches, and cost-reduction initiatives will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of finance experience in heavy manufacturing or the steel industry is required. Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the FICO module, is essential, with additional knowledge in MM, PP, and SD considered a plus. Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing KPIs is necessary, along with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
