As an analyst in the Controllers Organization at Citi reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting, your main responsibility will involve supporting the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reports to various stakeholders, including local regulators. This role offers high visibility within the organization and opportunities to collaborate with different functions across Citi. - Support the production, review, and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports like DSB, Financial Statements, and others to local regulators. - Monitor and manage key metrics related to reports to identify challenges and implement processes and controls to ensure accurate reporting. - Collaborate with the team to drive process improvements for enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in regulatory reporting. - Assist the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations by providing accurate information and analysis. - Work with peers and program leaders to implement local regulatory changes within the reporting framework. - Partner with the Risk & Controls team to maintain and improve an effective internal controls structure. - Integrate disciplinary knowledge in your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. Qualifications: - 2-5+ years of extensive experience in the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. - Possess basic knowledge of local regulatory reports. - Ability to navigate a large organization to streamline and summarize information points, creating repeatable processes for consistency. - Strong oral and written communication skills to synthesize complex concepts and drive change. - Strong technical problem-solving skills to identify conflicts, discrepancies, and other issues, leading the right team to solutions. - Manage competing priorities and tasks effectively in a complex and dynamic environment while collaborating well within a team.
