About the Role

Finance PMO professional with strong Change Management expertise

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management (PMO):

  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, standards, and templates for finance transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting across multiple finance projects.
  • Ensure alignment of finance programs with organizational strategy, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate steering committee and leadership updates with clear dashboards and insights.

Change Management & Transformation:

  • Develop and execute

    change management strategies

    to support adoption of new finance processes, tools, and systems.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess business readiness and identify potential adoption risks.
  • Design and deliver communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs.
  • Act as a

    change agent

    , driving cultural alignment and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Finance Domain Support:

  • Work closely with Finance leadership on transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation, process automation, and compliance enhancements.
  • Track financial impacts of projects, ensuring benefits realization and ROI are achieved.
  • Provide PMO insights to strengthen financial planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.

Data, Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to track adoption metrics, process efficiency, and program effectiveness.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews with accurate documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA/CPA preferred).
  • 710 years

    of experience in Project/Program Management within Finance or Transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in

    Change Management

    (e.g., PROSCI certification or equivalent is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of Finance processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence leadership and drive organizational change in a complex, matrixed environment.
