Your Impact
As a Finance Operations Manager for the PostPayment Audit Forensic team, you will manage all audit requests, delegate them to the appropriate auditors, ensure adherence to SLAs, and provide regular updates to the requestors as required. You will also head multiple teams of expense auditors and investigators on finance-related issues and conduct thorough reviews of forensic audit reports to ensure accuracy and quality. You should have the ability to analyze the data and sensitize the concepts. Based on the issues identified, you will prepare comprehensive audit reports. Additionally, you will conduct fact-finding discussions with auditees, document key discussion points, and incorporate them into the audit report. Sound judgment will be essential at every stage of the forensic audit process.You will regularly share updates on audit statistics with the leadership team and stakeholders outside the shared service center. Additionally, you will coordinate with the Risk and Conduct teams regarding audit outcomes and ensure proper documentation of the results. Additionally, you will engage in regular one-on-one interactions with auditors to support and guide them in advancing their career paths. Empower the audit team to conduct initial interviews and incorporate findings into reports. You will present the findings in clear and impactful reports for Firm leadership.You will oversee the performance and development of the team members, which includes conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to team members. You will identify training and development needs and facilitate relevant training programs, driving process standardization and efficiency across all the audit reports. You will contribute innovative ideas for automation and consistently work toward improving processes. Further, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop advanced analytical tools for audits.In this role, you will partner with global stakeholders, including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Ethics, Risk, and Internal Audit, to resolve forensic investigations and address potential risks. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to develop advanced audit tools and fraud detection systems., and represent the audit team in escalations and sensitive investigations, conducting auditee interviews.Your role also involves managing, coaching, and mentoring team members in report reviews, conflict resolution, productivity, and professional communication. You will establish clear goals and development plans for team members in forensic and centrally billed expense audit teams and help recruit top talent for the forensic and centrally billed expense audit teams, ensuring diverse experience and educational backgrounds.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in accounting/Auditing/Finance or a related discipline
- 12+ years of experience in accounting, finance, shared services, or an audit firm, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge of Fraud & Investigation will be an added advantage (CFE preferred). Deep understanding of forensic audits, centrally billed expense audits, and risk management processes
- Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with global stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Risk, and HR
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing diverse teams in audits and projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Deal with ambiguity comfortably and have sound audit judgmental abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to forecast challenges
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, word, and PowerPoint for audit reports
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively
