Finance Officer

As a Finance Officer at Wellington College International Pune (WCIP), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Finance Department's operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring income and expenditure in accordance with the school's budget - Producing monthly reports for the Master and relevant school committees - Demonstrating exceptional data analysis and forecasting skills, including advanced Excel proficiency - Keeping all school accounts and preparing income and expenditure reports as per school policies and accounting principles - Ensuring full statutory compliance with local and international tax, labor, and financial reporting laws - Handling double taxation avoidance agreements (DTAA) and ensuring efficient tax treatment for cross-border employees - Overseeing all bank accounts, including the school's debit card/s, completing monthly reconciliations, and reporting banking errors - Coordinating and maintaining a list of approved contractors and suppliers to ensure best value To qualify for this position, you should have the following experience and qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of experience - Entrepreneurial mindset and confidence to work in a multicultural environment with an International Management Team - Strong analytical and result-oriented approach - Excellent written and oral communication skills Additionally, the role requires the following skills and personal qualities: - Ability to multitask and liaise effectively with other teams - Efficient management of team roles and duties - Strong organizational and process-driven mindset - Team player who values differing opinions and listens to all points of view - Commitment to getting the job done well and on time This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at the school location.,
