Position

Brief of the Job

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Drive annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Conduct variance analysis on sales, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Provide insights on pricing strategies, market trends, and cost optimization in edible/FMCG operations.

2. Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AR, AP, asset management).
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage inventory accounting, consumption mapping, and stock reconciliations.

3. Costing & Plant Finance

• Handle product costing, standard cost setting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor plant expenses, wastages, yields, and production efficiency.
• Work closely with supply chain and procurement for cost improvement.

4. Commercial & Business Finance

• Support sales & distribution teams in pricing, trade promotions, credit management, and schemes.
• Analyze distributor ROI, channel profitability, and market spends.
• Review contracts with vendors, transporters, and raw material suppliers.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage working capital: receivables, payables, inventory & credit controls.
• Ensure optimum fund utilization and banking relationship management.
• Monitor hedging/commodity risk (especially edible oils).

6. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, FSSAI finance requirements.
• Manage internal audits, statutory audits, and strengthen internal controls.
• Oversee risk management and adherence to corporate governance standards.

7. Team Management

• Lead & mentor the finance team across plant, HO, or regional offices.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Education

• CA required

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in finance
• At least 3+ years in FMCG / edible oils / food manufacturing is highly preferred
