Finance Manager

About the job:

At RAMS, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage the financial aspects of our startup business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management for startups, including technical terms and concepts such as burn rate, EBITDA, dilution, and other investment-related metrics. This role involves preparing comprehensive financial reports, managing budgets, and providing accurate insights that support decision-making and investor relations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Track and report on key financial metrics, including EBITDA and burn rate, to support management in evaluating operational efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health and growth potential.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reviews to analyze performance and provide recommendations for cost savings.
• Prepare financial documents for fundraising rounds and investor updates.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with management on financial strategies, funding management, and investment planning.

The Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA is a plus).
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a startup or small business with exposure to EBITDA management and cash flow analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and startup financial metrics.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and communicate financial insights effectively. )
