Finance Manager & Credit Controller

Role Overview:

Leading financial planning and analysis activities and also overseeing the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. The position requires strong analytical acumen, commercial finance expertise, and operational discipline to ensure timely financial insights, sound business decision support, and effective working capital management.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Financial Planning & Analysis

1. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Drive annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and strategic planning processes in collaboration with business and functional teams.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections, with focus on accuracy and alignment to business drivers.
• Identify key financial risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.

2. Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly management reports, business performance decks, and KPI dashboards for leadership review.
• Deliver insightful variance analyses vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Support Group/Regional reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions.

3. Business Partnering

• Partner with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to drive financial performance and accountability.
• Support pricing, investment proposals, and profitability analysis for new/existing products or customers.
• Provide decision support for cost optimization, margin improvement, and working capital efficiency.

4. Analytical Support & Strategic Projects

• Conduct ad-hoc financial and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and management decisions.
• Support margin analysis, cost control initiatives, and efficiency improvement programs.
• Automate reporting and enhance analytics using tools like Power BI, SAP, or advanced Excel models.

B. Order-to-Cash (O2C) Operations

1. Credit Management & Risk Control

• Oversee customer credit assessments, credit limit reviews, and adherence to credit policies.
• Collaborate with Sales and SSC teams to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and credit risk appetite.
• Track overdue accounts and manage credit exposure effectively.

2. Receivables Management

• Monitor collections performance and drive timely realization of receivables.
• Review and analyze AR aging, DSO trends, and customer payment patterns.
• Escalate high-risk accounts and ensure appropriate provisioning and dispute resolution.

3. Process Governance

• Partner with SSC and business teams to streamline invoicing, billing accuracy, and cash application processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements in O2C processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in O2C operations to enhance efficiency and cash flow visibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICWA/ CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 510 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or commercial finance, with exposure to O2C / working capital management.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (D365, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
