Job Description

You will be joining Medline India as an experienced lead for the India FP&A team, focusing on supporting the Medline International business outside the US. In this role, you will collaborate with business and other teams, managing reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Your insights will play a crucial role in supporting business decisions, enhancing financial processes, and engaging with onshore stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include: Team Leadership: - Leading and developing a team of 2-3 analysts, ensuring their growth and delivering high-quality work. - Setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and providing regular feedback to the team. - Conducting performance reviews and evaluations in alignment with organizational goals. - Acting as a backup to the Manager - FP&A and other team members. Financial Reporting: - Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results. - Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and providing insights for stakeholders. - Reviewing month-end deliverables prepared by team members to ensure quality & accuracy. Budgeting & Forecasting: - Collaborating closely with the onshore team, providing support for budgeting and forecasting cycles. - Developing and maintaining financial models, documenting assumptions for planning efforts. Process Improvement: - Continuously evaluating and enhancing processes related to reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Implementing best practices and driving automation where possible. Stakeholder Management: - Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements, address concerns, and discuss with reporting managers and Offshore stakeholders as necessary. Ad Hoc Analysis: - Providing insightful financial analysis for ad hoc projects and new business initiatives. - Responding to queries from onshore business partners accurately and promptly. Skills and Experience: - Experience in cross-functional and collaborative work within a global organization. - Minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams of 3+ members. - Over 6 years of experience in Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting. - Strong technical accounting skills with practical knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint advanced skillset). - Strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset. - Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other ERP financial systems.
