Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Control:

Develop and implement robust financial budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring financial discipline and resource allocation are aligned with business objectives and market conditions.

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, and adherence to all relevant Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations.

• Cost Control & Profitability Management:

Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and improve profitability, particularly in the context of car sales, service, and parts inventory.

• Audit & Internal Controls:

Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

• ERP & System Management:

Implement and manage financial systems, likely including ERP solutions like SAP or Tally, for streamlined financial operations and data analysis.

• Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to interest rates, and operational vulnerabilities specific to the auto dealership.

• Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performing environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

Master's degree in Finance or a related field being a plus.

• Experience:

20 years in finance leadership roles, with a significant portion in the automobile industry or related retail environments. Hands-on experience with financial accounting, tax, and ERP systems is crucial.

• Industry Specifics:

Understanding of automobile dealership financial structures, inventory financing models, and showroom operations is highly advantageous.
