- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards (e.g., IndAS) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, inter-company balances, and other critical accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS, etc.) and Indirect Tax (GST) regulations.
- Manage tax filings, payments, assessments, and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
- Implement strategies for tax planning and optimization within legal boundaries.
- 3. Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash flow effectively.
- Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and projections.
- Develop strategies to optimize working capital management.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, variances against budget/forecast, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and analyses for investors, board members, and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with investor reporting covenants and requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Analyze product/service costs, margins, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Monitor actual performance against budget/forecast and report on variances.
- Work with department heads to develop and manage their budgets.
- 8. Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MBA in Finance or equivalent postgraduate degree in Finance/Accounting. CA/CMA qualification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with demonstrated experience across accounting, taxation, reporting, and budgeting.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime is essential.
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and/or other Zoho Finance suite applications is required.
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS) and Indian tax regulations (Direct & Indirect).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
