Job Description

The finance assistant will support the Finance Manager in performing the accounting activities and the bookkeeping (recording and/or controlling our financial transactions) for various entities of Deltatre Group located in Europe and US.

This is a hybrid role, and we expect you to attend the office at least 2 days per week.


Main responsibilities may include:

Purchase to Pay management :
  • Creation of new vendors / update of vendors information in our ERP (Netsuite) if needed.
  • Create Purchase Orders in coordination with Procurement central office (in Italy) and ensure invoices received are in accordance with the POs.
  • Manage incoming AP emails.
  • Act as point of contact, together with other dedicated Group Functions (Procurement / Finance) for the communications with vendors.
  • Process all invoices into the accounting system (Netsuite) for approval, ensuring correct allocation to Purchase Order, project codes, correct GST/VAT rates applied.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and allocate purchase invoices and payments in the accounting system.
  • Invoice Payment: enter payment run into the bank, based on due dates of the invoices, for approval (2 payment runs per month plus ad hoc payments).

Expense and Reconciliation Tasks :

  • Reconcile credit card statements, including posting transactions and following up on missing receipts.
  • Participate in monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments, trade payables, and fixed assets.
  • Posting of various Journal Entries as needed.



Requirements
  • 3 + years experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • All communication is in English, thus excellent English skills is a must
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
  • Oracle Netsuite accounting software experience desirable but not essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Capable of interacting with individuals at various levels and resolving queries.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
