Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst at TaskUs, your role involves various responsibilities: - General Accounting and Analysis: - Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing medium to high complexity journals and flux/variance analysis according to the financial close calendar. - Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for general ledger accounts, along with proper supporting documentation. - Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations for accounts of medium to high complexity, ensuring timely clearance of reconciling items and accurate balances. - Finance Analysis & Reporting: - Generate ADP/Workday reports on wages, taxes, and hours for accrual and paid purposes. - Prepare necessary reports for management and other departments. - Conduct financial analysis as required by management and other departments. - Internal Control: - Adhere to internal control policies and procedures. - Implement internal controls for accounts handled based on company policies. - Year-End Audit: - Prepare reports, reconciliations, and schedules required for audit purposes. - Collaborate with teams, departments, vendors, and leaders to gather necessary audit information. - Process Improvements: - Support finance-wide projects, such as process automation and system enhancements. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for errors/issues and propose solutions. - Collaborate with finance teams to understand end-to-end processes for process improvements. - Controllership: - Analyze trends, perform variance analysis, and recommend cost optimization actions. - Work with different groups to understand control and financial risks/opportunities. - Identify and report control risk and financial opportunities from detailed financial analysis. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Excel/Macro/Database/Access/Basic Programming. - Experience with Oracle.
